The following "Frequently Asked Questions" are provided for your information:

Directions to Wolf Lodge Campground?
Easy on/off access from 1-90, eight miles east of Coeur d'Alene. Take Exit 22 off 1-90. Go north to Frontage Road. Turn east, go 1.5 miles to Wolf Lodge Campground (just past Wolf Lodge Inn Steakhouse).

What is the maximum number of people I can have on a tent site?
Six people per tent site is permitted. Capacity of the park will allow for not more than six people for each tent site.

Where is the nearest restaurant?
Wolf Lodge Restaurant is ¼ mile west of the campground. It is a steak house and serves dinner only. There are many other great restaurants within 10-15 minute drive.

Where is the nearest grocery store?
The nearest grocery stores are located in Coeur d’Alene. There is also Wal-Mart Super Center in Post Falls and Costco in Coeur d’Alene. Our campground store has a limited selection of snacks, groceries and supplies for your convenience.

How far are you from Silverwood Theme Park?
We are 25 miles from Silverwood Theme Park. You can arrive at Silverwood Theme Park within 30-45 minutes depending on summer traffic.

Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are allowed; they must be kept on a leash, 6 feet long maximum. Please pick up and dispose of pet droppings. Pets are not allowed in the restrooms, cabins or office. There is a $20.00/night charge for any pet that is not confined inside owner’s RV, trailer, or tent during night.

Where can we get tourist information for the area?
Our campground store has a large display rack of brochures, maps and tourist information for the area. These are all complimentary.  You can also find a variety of tourist information on our web site - click "links" on the red ribbon.

How much does it cost to operate the washers/dryers in the laundry room?
The washers and dryers are coin-operated and cost $2.00 per load. Detergent and fabric softener are also available for $.50 each.

Can we swim in the creek?
Yes, swimming is allowed in the creek at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty.

Can we fish in the creek?
Yes, fishing is allowed in the creek. Check Idaho fishing regulations.

Do we need to bring bedding if we are renting a cabin?
Yes, you will need to bring your own bedding, pillows, etc. We do not provide bedding.

Is Wolf Lodge Campground on the lake?
We are about 2 miles from Lake Coeur d’Alene. The creek that runs through our campground empties into the lake.

Where can we launch our boat?
There is a public boat launch two miles from the campground. There is no overnight mooring available. There is an area at the campground for you to store your boat and trailer. A $5.00 per night extra charge applies.

Are smoking and pets allowed in the cabins?
No, smoking and animals are not allowed in the cabins or store/office.

Can we have campfires at our camp sites?
Yes, campfires are allowed in the fire rings that we have set up for you. These fire rings must not be removed. Every tent site has a fire ring. Fires should only be knee high...NO BON-FIRES!! RV’ers can have campfires at fire rings in designated areas. Please use extreme care as the campground borders forested areas. All campfires must be extinguished by 12:00 midnight. Everyone is welcome to join us at the large fellowship campfire each evening.

What hours are the quiet time hours?
In order to respect all campers a Quiet Time has been established from 10:00pm until 8:00am

Is there an internet connection available?
Yes, we do have free WiFi Internet.

Is cable TV available at your campground?
Satellites receive very well at each RV site. Sorry, no cable is available
